About Tara Treatment Center
Tara is Indiana’s model Alcohol & Drug Treatment and Training Center. Professionals provide a complete continuum of care to enhance the health and recovery of individuals, family, and communities. The ultimate goal for every client here at Tara is to achieve mental, physical, and spiritual wellness through abstinence from all mood-altering substances. Through our unique approach, transformation occurs for addicted individuals & their loved ones.
At Tara, we offer several programs to assist our clients’ journey to recovery. Two of those are creative art and yoga of 12-step recovery programs. Utilizing art as a means of self-expression, clients tap into their own creative mind and in doing so, learn to enjoy things again. The combination of yoga creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is. Enjoyment and hobbies are valued skills in recovery, and both of these programs offer an opportunity for clients to try something new.
