About Serenity House Counseling Services, Inc.
Serenity House Counseling Services, Inc. is a nonprofit, community-based treatment facility offering services to individuals recovering from substance use disorders. For over 30 years, Serenity House has consistently and successfully expanded substance abuse services and capacity throughout Chicagoland area to meet the ever increasing demand for treatment. Serenity House serves hundreds of men and women each year in our extended residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient , DUI services special adolescent programs, and recovery home programs.
We host a current capacity of 107 beds in our men’s and women’s residential programs and over 200 individuals in our outpatient programs. Through the years, treatment has developed into a broad range of interventions and now includes individual counseling, group counseling, family support including family nights, and sober fun activities. Our programs provide a holistic approach that focuses on integrating men and women back into their surroundings as self-sufficient, productive members of their communities while improving the quality of life for their families.
