About Our Place Recovery
We are a peer-led organization dedicated to increasing sustained recovery and empowering those impacted by addiction through mutual support, connection to resources, community engagement, education, and positive socialization. Our Vision is to transform our community by inspiring people in recovery to reach their potential and thrive!
We engage in Civic Engagement, Education and Advocacy, Social Events, Fitness and Outdoor activites and Volunteer Opportunities. Our Place Recovery was designed with the idea that drug addiction and alcoholism are not life sentences. We believe that the first step to recovery from chemical dependency is hope, the hope for a life no longer “dictated” by alcohol and drugs. Chemical dependency can be treated and with help our clients can find a life of sobriety. At Our Place Recovery we do not believe in hopeless cases. Our philosophy is you never fail until you quit trying.
