About Newport Institute for Young Adults – Southern California
Newport Institute is a nationwide series of evidence-based healing centers dedicated to transforming the lives of young adults and their families and loved ones struggling with mental health issues and co-occurring disorders, such as eating disorders and substance abuse. We treat young adults up to age 28 by empowering families, partnering with clinical professionals, and supporting them at this critical juncture in life.
Our residential facility team of mental health leaders and addiction treatment professionals spans psychiatrists, psychologists, family therapists, eating disorder therapists, nurse practitioners,
counselors, art therapists, music therapists, adventure therapists, registered dietitians, nutritionists, teachers, and private tutors – a growing roster of experts from all over the word, with a wide range of degrees and experience.
We use proven modalities while applying innovative treatment approaches that address the complexities of young adult dual diagnoses. Our experts treat each dimension of a young adult’s emerging self by using a wide range of clinical and experiential therapeutic approaches.
