The Joseph S. Massie Unit is a treatment facility for adults experiencing the devastating effects of alcoholism and other substance use disorders. Length of stay is individualized but averages 21 days. A holistic treatment approach is utilized to address the issues necessary to maintain an abstinent lifestyle.

The Unit provides comprehensive, high quality treatment to individuals and their significant others.Our treatment appproaches include Cognitive/behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Substance abuse counseling approach, Trauma-related counseling, Rational emotive behavioral therapy.
