About Jackie Nitschke Center
The Jackie Nitschke Center has been serving adults and families facing the struggles of substance addiction and mental health challenges since 1973. Our Mission is to provide life-saving hope, healing, and recovery to create stronger families and healthier communities. We believe that Live-long recovery is possible with the right treatment approach, our low client-to-counselor ratio, and continuing care. Studies have proven involvement in continuing care increases success in long term recovery
Our treatment approach is based on the disease concept. We address all aspects of a person’s recovery: Physical, Emotional, Behavioral, and Spiritual. We use a variety of therapeutic approaches, individualized to suit each client’s experiences and goals. Our campus location and involvement with the recovery community, gives clients the opportunity to become connected to community-based recovery support groups. This is crucial for lasting recovery. Family involvement and support are also significant components of healthy recovery and is included in our treatment programs.
