About Core Center of Recovery
The Center of Recovery (CORE) opened its doors in 1999 with the vision to bring a place of help and hope to suffering gamblers. We are a residential facility offering treatment to those afflicted with gambling problems from within the state of Louisiana and around the world. Our facility provides a home/family-like environment, accommodating up to 21 adults, with one handicap accessible bedroom. Upon entering our facility, people comment on the comfort and beauty of the facility and grounds.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance through treatment and helpline services to individuals and families who may be affected by problem gambling, substance use or suicide. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to become healthy and successful in their life and to do this in the most comfortable surroundings possible. Being a client at CORE allows people to explore new life choices, to reside in an environment of recovery and to have encouragement from others to change.
