About Acadia Montana
Altacare of Montana is our state’s leading provider of comprehensive in-school mental and behavioral healthcare services. Our partnerships with more than 100 elementary, middle, and high schools allow young people to participate in intensive outpatient programming with minimal disruption to their academic progress. Children and adolescents who receive services through Altacare follow personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique strengths, needs, and goals. Altacare’s mission is to create a collaborative partnership with the State of Montana, Community Agencies, School District’s and parents to provide mental health services to children in the least restrictive environment as possible.
The Altacare CSCT team includes a Master’s level or Licensed Therapist and a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, with offices located within the schools. The team works closely with school principals and other personnel to identify and treat children in need of assistance with behavioral or emotional problems. Early diagnosis, intervention, and treatment often eliminate the need for inpatient hospitalization and/or removing the child from home and school.
