About U-Turn For Christ – San Angelo
U-Turn for Christ’s office is located in San Angelo, Texas. It offers a range of levels of treatment as well as a wide range of individual treatments and can accept all health insurance plans.
U-Turn For Christ is a Christian-based program for men aged 18 and older that emphasizes integrity, obedience, accountability, and volunteerism in the community. Participants are encouraged to think of themselves as the “new creation” through the application of Biblical guidelines to the way they live their lives. The facility is situated on a working ranch that is live-in as well; as part of the treatment, patients are required to be involved in the daily activities connected to the operation of the ranch and maintenance.
When they turn U-Turn to Christ, the most crucial thing they want is to come to know Christ and to be transformed into the image of Christ through god’s power through Christ’s holy spirit.
In the first phase of their program, the participants will spend at least two months staying at U-Turn for Christ Ranch. The participants live in military-style apartments with ample space filled with bunk beds. This kind of accommodation encourages healthy friendships. During the day, residents participate in daily devotions, morning chores, community service volunteers, nightly Bible studies, and evening private devotional time.
This program’s second stage runs for six months and includes two paths for participants. Many return to work, make the monthly fee, and attend church, with the first part taking place during the night. Some are selected to commit six months of serving the Lord and are aided through the church.
