Substance Abuse Treatment
The Anthony Louis Center specializes in rehabilitation for teenagers (13-18) who are struggling with substance abuse, including alcohol and other drugs. We believe in providing care exclusively for this group as their needs are different. Being minors, the issues that arise in drug abuse in teens are different from those of adult treatment centers. Teenagers have a different understanding of risk, and, since their brains are still developing, they are uniquely vulnerable to the dangers of substance abuse.
The goal of this program is to help adolescent girls develop the skills they need to cope with the stresses of adolescence without turning to drugs and alcohol. Residential treatment provides female teens with a safe and supportive place to examine their substance abuse and behavioral problems, become educated about the disease of addiction, and discover alternative methods for facing life’s challenges and having fun.
