About Harmony Place Monterey
Harmony Place Monterey is a partial hospitalization intensive outpatient program on the Central Coast of California. It treats trauma, PTSD, psychiatric disorders, eating disorders, mental health, chemical dependency, and all forms of addiction. It is a one-of-a-kind outpatient program that can be either a three-hour-a-day Intensive Outpatient Program or a six-hour-a-day Partial Hospitalization Program.
Dr. Mark Schwartz and Lori Galperin, MSW, LCSW, are in charge of our specially trained staff. Our chemical dependency treatment center is run by a great group of people who have more than 40 years of experience helping people recover from trauma, mental health problems that make life hard, and addictions.
Our psychiatrists have a lot of experience dealing with mental health problems that haven’t been helped by other treatments. We offer different ways to help, which makes psychotherapy work better.
This mix of intensive one-on-one therapy, therapeutic communities and more social interaction, medication changes, and expressive work helps people let go of strong emotions and learn healthy ways to relate to food and other people. It also lets people change their boundaries with their families and friends.
