About Harmony Place Monterey
Harmony Place Monterey is a PHP/IOP treatment center on the Central Coast of California. Focused on addiction recovery and mental health issues (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma) that plague our ability to live productive, fulfilling lives, Harmony Place Treatment Center features experts in the field of healing, relapse and trauma resolution. It’s a one-of-a-kind outpatient alternative to residential care, structured as an intensive, three-hours-a-day Outpatient Program or as a six-hours-a-day Partial Hospitalization Program.
Our program for addiction includes 12-step work and for clients desiring alternatives we also offer Refuge Recovery, which is an integrated Buddhist model of treatment as well as deeper trauma-based therapies. We utilize a combination of psychotherapies, including: DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy), Somatic Processing, Expressive Psychotherapies such as Psychodrama and Gestalt in conjunction with Relapse Prevention and Cognitive Therapies. We offer a therapeutic community and a beautiful Transitional Living house to those coming a long distance for a separate cost.
