When Gene Duffy started this program, it was one of the first in the country to offer treatment for 28 days. We still help adults whose lives have been affected by drug abuse and addiction with a wide range of services. We also offer dual diagnosis treatment to people who are struggling with both chemical dependency and certain mental or behavioural health problems at the same time.

Duffy’s Napa Valley Rehab has a program that treats people with both substance abuse and mental health problems at the same time. Our treatment model uses a mix of practices that have been shown to work. These include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed, and 12 Step programming.

At Duffy’s, we think that building a strong therapeutic community that helps people focus on healthy relationships and participation is the key to recovery. Our program is made to be flexible so that it can meet the needs of each person on their way to recovery.

At Duffy’s, no two guests will have the same experience, but everyone we take care of can expect to take part in a variety of activities that are meant to help them live the healthy life they want and deserve.

Each week, our guests have several one-on-one counselling sessions, as well as classes, speciality groups, peer groups, and meetings. Families are encouraged to go to weekly meetings, educational events, and counselling sessions if they can and want to.

Since 1967, adults have been able to go to Duffy’s for detox and residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment and rehab. Our residential addiction treatment program, which is approved by CARF, gives you a strong base of knowledge to help you break free from addiction and stay clean.

Adults who have been struggling with addiction can get a wide range of personalized services through our comprehensive programming. People with a primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental or behavioural health disorder can also get help from us.
